The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has stated that 14 Jordanian pilgrims died, while 17 others have been reported missing during the pilgrimage.
The Jordanian News Agency said that the Director of the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs said that the Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al Qudah had affirmed that the Ministry and the Kingdom’s Consulate General in Jeddah are following up with Saudi authorities to bury the pilgrims, while the bodies of those whose relatives have expressed a desire to have them transferred to the Kingdom as soon as possible.
He said that the search for the 17 missing pilgrims is still going on, noting that those who died and the missing one are from outside the official Jordanian Hajj delegation.
Photos shared by Associated Press  paramedics carrying a pilgrim for a medical check after he fell down due to a heat stroke in Mina.
Masses of pilgrims on Sunday embarked on a symbolic stoning of the devil in Mina.
The ritual marks the final days of the Hajj, or Islamic pilgrimage, and the start of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations for Muslims around the world.
