A 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, and Dheerkot in Azad Kashmir, shaking the region and causing concern among residents. Many people felt the tremors, but so far, no damage or injuries have been reported.

The earthquake affected several areas, and people quickly became alert, stepping outside their homes and workplaces as a precaution. Although the shaking was noticeable, it did not seem strong enough to cause major destruction. However, authorities are keeping a close watch on the situation.

Experts say that earthquakes of this magnitude are not uncommon in the region, but they serve as a reminder to stay prepared. Many residents shared their experiences on social media, describing the brief but unsettling tremors.

Emergency teams are on standby, and officials have advised people to remain cautious. If any aftershocks occur, residents should take necessary safety measures, such as standing in open areas away from buildings or heavy objects.

While the earthquake did not cause immediate harm, it highlights the need for awareness and preparedness in earthquake-prone regions. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates if needed.

For now, life in the affected cities is returning to normal, but people remain on alert for any further developments.
