Field Marshal Asim Munir has reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s firm commitment to restoring lasting peace in Balochistan, vowing that all necessary actions are being taken to eliminate terrorism and dismantle networks working against the country’s stability.

During a recent visit to the province, the Army Chief emphasized that Pakistan will not tolerate any foreign-backed proxies or anti-state elements trying to fuel unrest.

He said that such groups, often supported by hostile forces, are being dealt with through a combination of intelligence-based operations, strict border monitoring, and community-focused initiatives.

Field Marshal Munir praised the resilience and patriotism of the people of Balochistan, acknowledging their sacrifices in the face of adversity. He said the province’s citizens remain central to Pakistan’s progress and that the government, along with the armed forces, is working to ensure equal opportunities for all.

He also highlighted that development and peace go hand in hand, stressing the importance of ongoing infrastructure projects, educational reforms, and employment programs aimed at empowering Baloch youth.

The Army Chief reiterated that peace in Balochistan is vital not only for the province but for Pakistan’s overall prosperity and security. “Our mission is clear: to bring stability, unity, and development to every corner of Balochistan,” he stated.

The reaffirmation comes amid ongoing efforts to integrate the province more closely into national growth plans, reflecting Pakistan’s broader vision of a peaceful and progressive future.
