Activities of Karachi Port Trust, Port Qasim

KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 80,662 tonnes of cargo comprising 28,976 tonnes of import cargo and 51,686 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.

The total import cargo of 28,976 tonnes comprised of 17,308 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,669 tonnes of Palm Kernel Expeller, 1,589 tonnes of Sugar, &7,410 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

The total export cargo of 51,686 tonnes comprised of 11,269 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 4,180 tonnes of Cement, 26,680 tonnes of Clinkers,& 9,557 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

Around, 04 ships namely, Xt Prosperity, Portland Iii, Wan Hai 622, & Regina, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.

Seaspan Breeze, Ruico Sapphire, Cma Cgm Zanzibar, Wan Hai 316, & One Marvel, sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.

PORT QASIM

A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them six ships, MSC Luisa, GFS Genesis, Ayrin, Ginga Saker, Elandra Oak and Maya Gas-I are expected to sail on Wednesday.

Cargo volume of 158,169 tonnes, comprising 117,944 tonnes imports cargo and 40,225 export cargo carried in 3,997 Containers (1,847 TEUs Imports & 2,150 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them six ships, Al-Soor-II, AN-61, Qtaifan, Amis Wisdom-I, Ayrin and MSC Vittoria & two more ships, Hansa Africa and CMA CGM Zanzibar carrying Gas oil, LPG, LNG, Coal and Container are expected to take berths at FOTCO, EVTL, EETL, PIBT and QICT on Wednesday 19th November, 2025.
