Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs436,562 after an increase of Rs7,700 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs374,281 after it accumulated Rs6,601, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, in the local market, gold price per tola stayed stable at Rs428,862.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also jumped by Rs152 to reach Rs5,422 per tola.

Moreover, international gold extended gains on Tuesday to hit its highest in more than a week, brushing off a firm dollar, after dovish comments from Fed policymakers revived prospects of a US rate cut in December.

Spot gold rose 0.1% to $4,140.85 per ounce by 0457 GMT, the highest since November 14, building on a 1.8% advance on Monday.
