LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has further intensified its crackdown on electricity thieves and defaulters, recovering more than Rs150.75 million from over 5,000 consumers during its month-long operation carried out between November 1 and November 30, 2025.

According to official data, the central circle recovered Rs30.46 million from 726 defaulters, while the eastern circle secured Rs11.99 million from 264 consumers. In the Okara Circle, 562 defaulters cleared dues amounting to Rs8.25 million, and the southern circle collected Rs2.50 million from 53 defaulters.

Further, the Sheikhupura Circle recovered Rs11.33 million from 412 consumers, the Kasur Circle led with Rs 65.12 million recovered from 2,723 defaulters, and the Nankana Circle collected Rs3.55 million from 289 consumers.

The LESCO officials said the operation was conducted with the support of the DISCOs support unit, comprising police, Rangers, and the district administration.

Chief Executive LESCO Ramazan Butt stated that indiscriminate action against defaulters remains a key element of LESCO’s policy. “The financial stability of the company and uninterrupted power supply to consumers are our top priorities,” he said, urging the public to pay their dues promptly to ease pressure on the system and ensure a stable supply and distribution network.
