Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding economic cooperation during a meeting between Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb and Saudi Vice Minister of Finance Abdulmuhsen Al-Khalaf in Riyadh, the Finance Division said on Thursday.
According to the statement, both sides discussed Pakistan’s improving macroeconomic indicators and expressed a shared resolve to strengthen bilateral economic ties further.
Aurangzeb thanked the kingdom for its continued bilateral and multilateral support to Pakistan’s economy.

The two sides agreed to maintain close coordination at both tactical and strategic levels to advance the economic priorities of their leaderships.
The finance minister is currently in Saudi Arabia to attend the Momentum Development Finance Conference in Riyadh.
During the visit, he also met Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor at the Royal Court, and held several media engagements.
