The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced the opening of applications for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for the academic session 2026–2027, offering Pakistani students an opportunity to pursue higher education in Brunei’s leading institutions. The announcement was shared through HEC Pakistan’s official channels to inform eligible candidates across the country.

According to the details, the fully funded scholarship is being offered by the Government of Brunei Darussalam for foreign students and covers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Successful applicants will be able to study at prominent higher education institutions in Brunei, including Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan, and Politeknik Brunei. The initiative aims to strengthen international academic cooperation while providing students with access to quality education in a culturally rich and academically advanced environment.

HEC Pakistan has advised interested candidates to complete their online applications before the registration deadline of February 15, 2026. Applications must be submitted through the official Government of Brunei Darussalam scholarship portal, as outlined in the announcement. Students are encouraged to carefully review eligibility criteria, required documentation, and programme details prior to submission to ensure compliance with the scholarship guidelines.

The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship is regarded as a significant opportunity for Pakistani students seeking international exposure and academic growth. By facilitating access to globally recognized institutions, the programme is expected to contribute to human resource development and strengthen educational ties between Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam.
