Gold per tola reaches record-high for second consecutive day in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan reached a record-high for the second consecutive day. In the local market on Tuesday, gold price per tola reached Rs481,862 after a gain of Rs900 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs413,118 after it increased by Rs771, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold price per tola reached Rs480,962 after a gain of Rs7,700 during the day.

The international rate of gold was up by $9 to reach $4,595 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs180 to reach Rs9,075 per tola.
