Cricket Fever Returns! PSL 11 Set to Start from 26 March

PCB has officially announced that the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League will begin on March 26, 2026. This season will be bigger than previous editions, as the league will feature eight teams instead of six.

Two new franchises from Sialkot and Hyderabad have been added, marking an important expansion of the tournament.

The announcement was made after a meeting of the PSL Governing Council held in Lahore. The meeting was chaired by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and attended by senior officials and stakeholders. Several key matters related to the upcoming season were discussed during the session.

These included the season schedule, player retention rules, auction formats, and the process for smoothly integrating the two new teams into the league. The council focused on maintaining competitive balance while ensuring the league continues to deliver high-quality and entertaining cricket.

A major highlight of PSL 11 is that Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium will host PSL matches for the first time. This is a significant development for the city, as it brings top-level cricket to Faisalabad and allows local fans to experience the excitement of the league at their home ground.

The tournament will be played across five cities: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad. By hosting matches in multiple locations, the PCB aims to reach a wider audience and strengthen the league’s connection with cricket fans across Pakistan.

The addition of new teams and venues reflects PCB’s commitment to growing the Pakistan Super League and making it more inclusive, competitive, and engaging for players and supporters nationwide.
