Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised prospective Hajj pilgrims to complete the mandatory Saudi biometric verification by Sunday, cautioning that Hajj visas will not be issued without fulfilling this requirement.

For Hajj 2026, Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 179,210 pilgrims to Pakistan, with the majority expected to travel under the government-sponsored scheme. Authorities have emphasized that completing biometric verification is a critical step in the application process and must be done within the given deadline.

Pilgrims can conveniently complete the biometric verification from their homes using the Saudi Visa Bio mobile application. However, those who encounter technical difficulties or are unable to complete the process online have been instructed to visit designated Saudi Tasheer centers no later than February 8. Pilgrims aged over 80 years have been exempted from this requirement.

Officials stated that the biometric verification initiative is part of wider reforms introduced by Saudi authorities to improve transparency, streamline the Hajj process, and prevent administrative issues or mismanagement during the pilgrimage.
