Lahore witnessed an unprecedented surge in activity during the three-day Basant celebrations, with a record-breaking entry of nearly one million vehicles into the city.

Public transport also saw all-time high usage, as approximately 1.4 million passengers traveled via the Orange Line Metro Train, Metrobus, Speedo feeder buses, Electrobuses, and other services.

The event was managed smoothly through close coordination between transport, traffic, health, and security departments. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reviewed the arrangements and commended both officials and citizens for their discipline and cooperation.

While the city celebrated with great enthusiasm, strict safety protocols and kite-flying regulations remained firmly enforced to ensure public safety.
