Gold price drops by Rs10,000 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs539,962 after a decline of Rs10,000 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs462,930 after it fell by Rs8,573, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Tuesday, gold price per tola reached Rs549,962 after a drop of Rs13,900 during the day.

The international rate of gold declined by $100 to reach $5,172 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs100 to reach Rs9,004 per tola.
