Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Asim Munir has cautioned that any form of violence in Pakistan triggered by external or foreign-related incidents will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He emphasized that maintaining internal stability and protecting citizens remains a top priority for the state.

During a meeting with Shia ulema in Rawalpindi, he highlighted the critical role of religious scholars in fostering unity, tolerance, and national cohesion. He urged them to actively counter misinformation and play their part in discouraging sectarian divisions, stressing that collective efforts are essential to ensure peace, harmony, and long-term stability across the country.
