DNTV, Staff Reporter
His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a new stage of the plan aimed at securing medical treatment for Sharjah male and female citizens.
To this effect, Sheikh Sultan approved provision of medical treatment at the University Hospital for 5,000 beneficiaries aged 50 to 55 years old at a yearly budget of Dhs50 million.
This stage of providing treatment for Sharjah citizens came after Sheikh Sultan had approved the previous stage, where some 9,654 beneficiaries over 55 years of age had been given medical treatment.
As part of the plan, a next stage would be announced on time for providing medical treatment for 8,000 Sharjah male and female citizens between 45 and 50 years of age.
“Beneficiaries of the new stage of the plan, who are between 50 and 55 years of age, can send their data via WhatsApp number 0507856717 or call Sharjah Health Authority (SHA) on 065091666,” said Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Muhairi, Chairman of SHA, through the Direct Line programme broadcast on the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
The SHA created an electronic link that enables the beneficiary to enter his data, and accordingly the insurance would be activated on the same day for treatment at the University Hospital, he added.
The required documents include ID card, family book, personal photo and phone number, he said.
