The Edhi Foundation has launched the Edhi Institute of Science and Technology to provide free vocational training. This new institute aims to help individuals become self-sufficient by offering practical skills training.

Located near Jinnah International Airport, the institute provides courses in various trades, including auto mechanics, generator mechanics, motorcycle mechanics, auto electricians, and information technology. These courses are available in six-month and year-long formats, allowing students to choose the duration that best suits their needs.

Faisal Edhi, a key figure in the foundation, highlights the importance of giving students skills that can lead to sustainable jobs. By learning these trades, students can secure regular incomes and improve their lives. The training is designed to be practical and relevant, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the job market.

Students like Jamil Ahmed and Ameer Hussain have expressed their dedication to pursuing technical careers. They see these skills not just as hobbies, but as a way to build stable and prosperous futures. They believe that the training they receive will enable them to find steady employment and support their families.

The Edhi Institute of Science and Technology is part of the Edhi Foundation’s broader mission to support marginalized communities. By offering free vocational training, the foundation aims to foster independence and professional growth among those who need it most.

This initiative is a testament to the foundation’s commitment to helping people achieve better lives through education and skill development.

Through this new institute, the Edhi Foundation continues its legacy of service and empowerment, providing valuable opportunities for individuals to learn, grow, and succeed in their chosen careers.
