However, this exemption does not apply to the seven-day paid parking zones, which are operational throughout the week and on official holidays.
These seven-day paid parking zones are identified by the blue parking information signs.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that Sunday, 7th July, 2024 (1st Muharram), will be an official paid holiday for private sector companies in the UAE on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1446 AH.
