Technical glitch delays metro services between Equiti and Max stations in Dubai

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that Metro Red line users will face delay in service between “Equiti” and “Max” stations due to a technical glitch.
The RTA said on X, “For Dubai Metro Red line users, RTA informs you that there is expected delay in service between “Equiti” and “Max” stations, due to a technical issue, alternative bus service has been provided between the affected stations. We thank you for your cooperation.”
The authorities have deployed engineers and technicians on the line to fix the issue as soon as possible.
It is not clear what caused the technical issue.
The situation is under investigation.
A Dubai resident wrote on X, “No bus or metro going to Centerpoint! Stuck in business bay…”
The RTA has apologised for the inconvenience caused to the metro users.
