HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

If you react quickly to the next big opportunity that comes your way – and it could be with you in a matter of hours – you will steal a march on your rivals and impress your superiors. Don’t wait for permission, seize the initiative!

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You can tell a friend what they want to hear or you can tell them what they need to hear. Choose the first if you want a quiet day; choose the second if you feel they should know the facts rather than continuing to mislead themselves.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Try not to get too caught up with ideas about winning and losing. It’s nice to be No. 1, of course, but it’s not the most important thing at the moment – that honour goes to being the charitable human being who puts other people first.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you get the urge to travel today then just pack a bag and go. According to the planets there is nothing of any great importance holding you back, so allow your spirit of adventure to lead you in whatever direction it feels most attracted to.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

As values planet Venus moves into the financial area of your chart tomorrow it might be wise not to go wild with the credit cards. All those little purchases you made over the past few weeks have been adding up to a considerable debt.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Ignore the critics and cynics and push ahead with your plans. The world is divided into two types of people: those who follow up on their promises with action and those who say they will act but never seem to get round to it.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You must be 100 per cent sure that it’s the right thing for you before starting a task that is going to take up a large slice of your time and attention, maybe on a daily basis. It’s all or nothing: go for it or give up on it.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts:

If a friend goes against your advice and does something you believe is reckless there really is nothing you can do about it. Either they will prove you wrong and make a success of it or you can help them pick up the pieces later on.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Take time out today to look back over the first half of the year and ask yourself if the goals you set have all been reached. If the answer is No don’t get upset. There is still time to make your mark, but you need to get serious.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There is a danger that your expectations are too high and, as a consequence, you won’t reach the success levels you had hoped for. There is no shame in adjusting your sights a bit to improve your chances, in fact it’s a very wise move.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Money matters will take center stage over the next few days and if you have been too free and easy with your cash of late then you may have to cut back a bit. Is there anything you paid a fortune for that you can now sell on?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Don’t be too hard on yourself if something you have been working on has to be abandoned between now and the weekend. Yes, it’s a failure of sorts, but it’s also a useful learning experience and next time you will surely get it right.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

What happens today will no doubt take you by surprise but looking back from the end of the week you will recognize that you should have seen it coming. The fact is you were willfully blind to reason purely through emotion.
