HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Your birthday message is that life is not a zero-sum game – other people don’t have to lose so that you can win. The more you strive to help others this year the more the universe will help you. Life is always win-win if you want it to be.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Is a relationship really at crisis point or are you overreacting to the kind of situation you have dealt with successfully so many times before? Quiet your mind and take a few deep breaths, then find ways to work it out between you.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Upheavals of one sort or another are inevitable over the next few days but in the long-term they will work in your favour, so instead of feeling sorry for yourself try using the opportunities those upheavals bring to benefit yourself financially and professionally.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If there is something you really, really desire try holding the image of it in your mind for the next 24 hours and you may be amazed to find that it comes to you as if by magic. One way or another the universe will provide what you crave.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

It’s time to sweep away all those old and outdated ideas that may have worked for you in the past but are now holding you back. Use the power of the Sun in your sign to upgrade your understanding of what life is about to a much higher level.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Choose your words carefully today because it will be easy for you to say something hurtful that is very hard to take back later on. Not everyone takes criticism well (you least of all) so find ways to get your message across that are not emotionally damaging.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The more a colleague insists that they can be trusted the more you must be on your guard. It’s not their words you should be paying attention to but their track record of promises kept and promises broken – and it’s really not that great.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts:

By all means express yourself loudly and forcefully today but don’t be surprised if you get some pushback from people who don’t like to be told what they should be doing. Never mind, it’s their loss if they refuse to take your criticism on board.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may not want to come down hard on a friend or family member who has been taking liberties but if you don’t do it now you will have to do it later when the consequences are likely to be even messier. It’s time to get tough.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You may be out of step with those who say the best approach to current difficulties is to be cautious but that does not mean you are wrong. If your instincts tell you to go for a more radical approach you would be a fool to ignore them.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The more criticism you get from a colleague or someone in a position of power the more certain you can be that your recent observations about their behaviour have touched a nerve. Don’t back off – repeat what you know to be true until the message sinks in.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Your intuition has been operating on a higher level in recent weeks and what it reveals to you today must not be disregarded. Even if the whole wide world disagrees with your conclusions they are almost certainly correct, at least for you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

A problem that has been taxing your brain for weeks, maybe months, has in fact got an amazingly simple solution and it will pop into your head at some point today. Often, when you stop thinking so hard the answers come so much easier.
