Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan faced an unexpected situation when he was detained by Dubai police after being prevented from boarding a flight at Dubai Airport. Authorities escorted him to the Bar Dubai police station for further questioning.

The incident arose following a complaint filed against him by his former manager and well-known showbiz promoter, Salman Ahmed. Despite the situation, it was clarified that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had not been formally arrested.

The singer was in Dubai for a series of musical performances when the incident occurred. Earlier in the year, Rahat came under scrutiny by Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which launched an investigation into allegations of money laundering and tax evasion. The probe followed revelations that Rahat had earned nearly Rs8 billion from his local and international concerts over the past 12 years.

Adding to his troubles, Rahat was also involved in a scandal earlier this year when a video went viral, allegedly showing him physically assaulting a band member over a missing bottle of liquor. This video caused widespread shock and drew global attention.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is well-known for his contributions to Bollywood music, where he has delivered numerous popular songs. The recent controversies have brought significant attention to the singer’s personal and professional life.
