Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently opened Punjab’s largest medicine warehouse in Maraka and instructed that warehouses in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Multan should start operating immediately.

Now, nine warehouses across the province are fully functional, capable of storing more than 17 billion medicines and medical equipment.

Maryam Nawaz took a hands-on approach in overseeing the project, even driving a forklift and checking the quality of the furniture, equipment, and medicines, as well as the storage conditions.

Health Secretary Ali Jan Khan assured that these warehouses are well-equipped to store and transport medicines at the best possible temperatures, ensuring their safety and efficacy. This initiative aims to improve healthcare services in the region by ensuring a steady supply of quality medicines.
