LONDON: Europe’s main stock markets grew slightly at the start of trading on Friday, the end of a roller-coaster week for global equities.
London’s FTSE 100 index gained 0.3 percent to 8,172.89 points.
Stocks extend recovery, yen slides as volatility grips markets
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index advanced 0.2 percent to 7,264.14 points and Frankfurt’s DAX rose 0.1 percent to 17,695.33.
