Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a reward of Rs. 150 million for Olympic gold-medalist Arshad Nadeem and Rs. 10 million for his coach, Salman Iqbal Butt. This generous reward recognizes their incredible achievements and hard work, which have made the nation proud.

Nadeem, who recently visited the Prime Minister’s House with his family and coach, was warmly welcomed with a standing ovation. This special moment highlighted the nation’s appreciation for his dedication and remarkable performance.

During the visit, Nadeem expressed his deep gratitude to the people of Pakistan for their unwavering support. He shared that this encouragement played a significant role in his success. Looking ahead, he is now focused on his next goal—breaking the world record in javelin throw.

At the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nadeem set a new Olympic record with a remarkable 92.27-meter javelin throw, showcasing his exceptional talent on the global stage.

In recognition of his achievements, Nadeem will be honored with the prestigious Hilal-e-Imtiaz award today. Additionally, a road in Islamabad will be named after him, ensuring his legacy is remembered for years to come.
