Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has conveyed his heartfelt condolences and support to the people of Bangladesh as they face the devastating impact of recent floods. In a letter addressed to Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Prime Minister expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic situation, acknowledging the severe challenges brought on by the floods.

Sharif commended the strength and resilience of the Bangladeshi people, expressing his confidence in their ability to navigate through this difficult time under strong leadership. He reassured Dr. Yunus that Pakistan stands in solidarity with Bangladesh, offering not just words of sympathy, but also a commitment to provide any necessary support to help the country recover from this disaster.

Emphasizing the strong bond between the two nations, Prime Minister Sharif affirmed Pakistan’s readiness to assist in relief and recovery efforts, underscoring the importance of regional cooperation in times of crisis. His message highlighted the shared values of compassion and unity, and he reiterated Pakistan’s willingness to contribute to the ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the floods in Bangladesh.
