His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday through the X platform, said, “Fifteen years have elapsed since the inception of the Dubai Metro, during which it transported 2.4 billion passengers on over 4.3 million trips.
The punctuality rate has reached 99.7 per cent, and the objective is to reach 100 per cent, God willing. “Punctuality may be considered a culture, a virtue and a noble civilisational value,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
He also said, “The Dubai Metro project exemplifies the cultural ethos of Dubai, which is based on the values of quality, punctuality and the creation of an optimal environment for living and working. We extend our gratitude and appreciation to all Dubai Metro employees for their contributions in upholding these civilisational values.”
