Pakistan Railways is making a big effort to help disabled individuals by giving them a 50% discount on train tickets for all express and passenger trains. To get this discount, travelers need to show their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) with a disability logo on it.

This initiative is aimed at reducing travel costs for people with disabilities, making it easier for them to travel comfortably. It is not just about financial relief but also about ensuring that disabled individuals can enjoy equal access to public transportation.

In addition to the discount for disabled travelers, Pakistan Railways is also offering a 50% discount for attendants traveling with visually impaired passengers. This extra support aims to make it more convenient for those who need assistance while traveling, especially those who are visually impaired.

These steps taken by Pakistan Railways show their dedication to creating an inclusive environment for the disabled community. By offering these discounts, they are making sure that people with disabilities and their companions have better access to affordable and comfortable travel, encouraging more independence and making public transport more accessible to everyone.
