Dr. Mahrang Baloch, the leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, has been honored by Time magazine as one of the “2024 Time100 Next” individuals for her work in advocating for Baloch rights. This prestigious list highlights 100 young people who are making a significant impact in various fields, including art and activism.

Dr. Mahrang rose to prominence after she led a march to Islamabad in December 2023, where she and her supporters demanded justice for the Baloch people.

Her dedication and courage have earned her recognition on an international platform. Upon receiving this honor, she expressed her gratitude and dedicated the recognition to Baloch women, acknowledging their struggles and resilience.

The “Time100 Next” list also includes other notable figures, such as Nahid Islam, a student leader from Bangladesh, and Hamada Shaqoura, a food blogger from Gaza.
