SAZGAR Engineering Works has reached a pivotal milestone in Pakistan’s automotive history by producing 10,000 locally assembled hybrid vehicles. This achievement not only underscores SAZGAR’s growth but also marks a significant turning point for the country’s automotive industry. The company proudly celebrates this occasion with the Haval Decemilia—the 10,000th Haval vehicle to come off the production line.

In collaboration with Great Wall Motors (GWM), SAZGAR has transformed the market with Pakistan’s most extensive New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup. From the petrol-powered Haval Jolion to the cutting-edge electric ORA O3 and the high-performance ORA O7, SAZGAR is driving toward a more sustainable automotive future. Their Haval H6 HEV led the market in 2023-24, further establishing SAZGAR’s prominence in Pakistan’s automobile sector.

Achieving this 10,000-unit production milestone is a remarkable accomplishment, especially in a market that has faced economic challenges over the past decades. SAZGAR has pioneered hybrid-electric vehicles in Pakistan and continues to elevate its lineup with full-electric models like the ORA O3 and the ORA O7 sports EV. With the Tank 500 hybrid also on the horizon, SAZGAR and GWM now offer the largest NEV lineup in Pakistan.

SAZGAR celebrated this milestone with a grand event at its assembly plant, attended by key government officials, including the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, dealership partners, and the SAZGAR team. The unique launch sequence left a strong impression on all attendees, showcasing SAZGAR’s dedication to innovation.

Chief Guest Rana Tanveer Hussain praised SAZGAR’s bold advancements and promised continued government support for automotive innovation. Key SAZGAR team members were also honored with shields and mementos for their contributions to this remarkable achievement.

As SAZGAR continues to expand its lineup, Pakistan’s automotive landscape is poised for a bright, electric future.
