HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A sun-Pluto link on your birthday will endow you with the power to make things happen but you must use that power wisely. Whenever you are tempted to compete with someone stop to think for a minute and then choose to co-operate instead.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Don’t worry too much if someone in a position of authority tries to force you to do things you have no interest in, because their power over you is getting weaker by the minute. Stand up for yourself and let the world know you will not be intimidated.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

As one of the zodiac’s fixed signs you rarely change your ways but because the sun moves into your opposite sign today you must recognize that this is one of those occasions when bending with the breeze is a must – and it won’t hurt a bit.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

What others want to hear and what they need to hear are two very different things. Make it your business today to lay the facts in front of them so they don’t have the excuse later on that no one told them what their options were.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

One of the very best times of the year begins for you today as the sun moves into the most dynamic area of your chart, but you must be sensible and pace yourself carefully over the next few days. Don’t be in such a rush to get things done.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Loved ones must be allowed to do things their own way today, even if you can see it will most likely end in tears. It is a sad fact of life that people tend to learn best when they make the kind of mistakes that can be easily avoided.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun moves into the most outgoing area of your chart today and almost immediately you will feel a great surge of energy and enthusiasm. By all means get out and about and have fun with your friends. If you’re not laughing then you’re not doing it right!

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

You may be a bit too aggressive today, especially on the home front where Pluto’s influence will encourage you to stir things up rather than calm them down. Be warned that if you go to extremes you can expect a backlash of some kind.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The sun moves into your sign today and a new solar year gets underway. Forget about everything that went before and focus on making the most of the opportunities that are right in front of you. Your future is bright and it starts right now.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You can, if you wish, try to act as a peacemaker in a dispute of some kind but the planets warn you probably won’t be successful. Sometimes the best course of action is to stand back and let others get on with their petty vendettas.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The sun’s move into the friendship area of your chart today will make it easy to get along with all kinds of people, so don’t limit yourself to interacting only with friends and family and neighbors. Reach out to everyone who crosses your path.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You will become increasingly ambitious over the next few days and if you play your cards right you could soon be moving up in the world. The best way to impress employers, senior colleagues and other important people is to act on your own initiative.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

There has been a lot of disruption in your life of late and there could be more of the same over the next 24 hours, but after that will follow a period of relative calm. There are some really good things coming your way from over the horizon.
