Mark Cuban had more criticism for former President Donald Trump on Friday as the billionaire continues his media blitz to support Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign.

Cuban told Fox Business’s Neil Cavuto on Friday that Trump is someone he would spend time with but that he wouldn’t support him for president.

“I mean, if he wants to go to dinner, he wants to have a drink one night. He won’t drink, I’ll drink. You know, we hang out. He’s fun to hang around. He’s got a great personality, he’s charismatic,” Cuban said. “But I think he was a lousy president before, I think he’ll be a worse president this time.”

Cuban added that Trump’s problem isn’t his personality but rather his “ability.” After Cavuto asked Cuban to respond to Trump’s attacks on him, Cuban said that it indicated his inability to focus.

“That tells you how much time he spends on policy and trying to learn things. And that really was the underpinning of why I stopped supporting him back in 2016. Because the more I talked to him about policy, the less he engaged he was,” he said.

A spokesperson for Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent outside working hours.

In an email to Business Insider, Cuban said Trump “is the guy that will make you laugh at the dumb stuff he says. We all have friends like that.”

“He truly is personable and nice in person,” he wrote.

Cuban has emerged as an unexpected surrogate for Harris since she announced her campaign in July.

Recently, the billionaire entrepreneur has been on a media campaign, speaking on various platforms, from the “All-In” podcast to The New York Times.

Business Insider reported that Cuban campaigned for Harris last week in three key swing states: Wisconsin, Arizona, and Michigan.
