HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Cosmic activity on your birthday means your generosity will know no bounds over the coming year. You must, however, be smart about who is deserving of your largesse and who is pretending to be in need so they can separate you from your money.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Don’t let a killjoy friend stop you from doing what you most enjoy. They may think they have your best interests at heart but as far as you are concerned having fun should come first whatever the risks, real or imagined, might be.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You should find it easier to reach a decision about a family matter now that Mars is moving through the domestic area of your chart but you must not impose your wishes on other people even if you are able to do so. Compromise is essential.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You will find your voice today and some of the things you have to say won’t go down well with those who would prefer you did not notice what they’ve been up to. That’s too bad, because you’re not about to let them off the hook.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You must break free of a restriction that has been holding you back for weeks, maybe months. The sun in the most dynamic area of your chart will make it easy for you to get tough with those who don’t want you to enjoy your freedom.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Mars in your sign means you are much more alert to what is going on in the world around you and if you see things you don’t like you will make it your business to do something about them. Try not to be too heavy-handed though.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You seem to be somewhat obsessive about an issue that is of no real importance and if you don’t get over it soon you will waste a lot of time and energy that could be put to better use. You don’t have to “win” – just let it go.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

You cannot allow negative thoughts to get a grip on you, because once they have wormed their way into your mind it may take a long time to get rid of them again. Focus instead on what you plan to do with family and friends this coming weekend.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Upheavals of one sort or another are inevitable over the next few days but now you are aware of that fact you won’t let them get to you. Others are unlikely to be so laidback about it though, so expect a tantrum or two along the way.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you make an effort to change just one small area of your life over the next 24 hours it will have a major knock-on effect and soon that change will become a transformation. You never know what you can do until you try Sag – so try!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If you clash with someone who is about as different from you as it is possible to get then it’s unlikely that the situation will end well. Instead, let their criticisms go over your head and act as if everything they say is a bit of a joke.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You are who you are for a good cosmic reason and anyone who thinks they can change you will be hugely disappointed. As one of the zodiac’s Fixed signs you are not now, and never will be, for turning. The sooner others understand that the better.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

If you are in two minds what approach to take to a career matter that needs to be dealt with soon you could do worse than consult a friend who was recently in a similar situation. They will gladly give you the benefit of their experience.
