HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Keep things simple over the coming year and ignore those who say you need to inject a bit more oomph into your affairs. They can make things complicated for themselves if they wish but they have no right to disrupt your settled way of doing things.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you expect partners and loved ones to think logically over the next 24 hours you will be disappointed. It would appear that their hold on reality is shaky to say the least, so don’t expect much in the way of reasoned behaviour.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If you do something silly today don’t be too hard on yourself. Even a Taurus makes mistakes once in a while and there is no shame in admitting that you took a wrong turning. Just go back a few steps and take the right one.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You may be having doubts about a commitment of some kind but you signed up to go all the way so there can be no backing out. The planets indicate that after a short period of instability it will come good for you in the long term.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If a creative activity is not working out for you then feel free to junk it. It may seem like an admission of failure but in the greater scheme of things it is no more than a learning event – and most things are still going right for you.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

How do you know for sure that what you have chosen to believe is true? What occurs between now and the weekend will force you to question some of the assumptions you have about life in general and your role in particular, but that’s no bad thing.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You don’t have to follow a course of action that other people say is the right thing for you. If your instincts point you in a different direction then trust them and head off along that path instead. Life is an adventure or it is nothing.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you expect the unexpected today you won’t be disappointed. The good news is you will surprise yourself by how well you deal with occurrences that would usually throw you off your stride. As a cardinal sign you know how to fight and win.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You must stay calm and you must stay focused on your No. 1 priority. Everything will go well for you over the next few days if you refuse to be distracted by people who don’t share your level of passion and drive and ambition.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If someone offers you assistance today you would be wise to question if there might be any strings attached. You have enough on your plate as it is without adding to your commitments and workload. If you can, go it alone.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Don’t hold back information when dealing with family members today, because if they find out later on that you were being less than truthful – even with the best of intentions – they won’t be happy about it. Honesty is always the best policy.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You have been working extremely hard of late and need to go a bit easier on yourself. The planets warn if you don’t slow down you could find yourself beset by minor problems that take a long time to clear up. Respect your limits.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You need to be much more assertive now because you have been allowing too many people to get away with too many transgressions and you are the one who is paying for it. Give them a straightforward choice: Either shape up or ship out.
