Teachers will work on a six-month contractual basis, which is non-extendable. They will serve within their respective district, tehsil, or union council, ensuring accessibility for local communities.

Responsibilities

Establishment of ALCs: Teachers must arrange a room of appropriate size to set up an Adult Literacy Centre in collaboration with a Literacy Mobilizer.
Learner Registration: Each teacher will enroll a group of 25–30 learners (aged 16+) on the NFEMIS portal with the help of the mobilizer.
Education Delivery: Teachers will impart foundational education to illiterate individuals, fostering growth and self-reliance.
