Pakistan’s blind cricket team has advanced to the semifinals of the 4th T20 Blind Cricket World Cup with an impressive win over Nepal. The match was held at the Ghani Institute Cricket Ground, where Pakistan dominated with a 10-wicket victory.
Nepal batted first and scored 100 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 18 overs. Bhart Thapa was the top scorer for Nepal, making 39 runs. Pakistan’s Haroon Khan bowled brilliantly, taking 2 wickets for just 5 runs.
In response, Pakistan chased down the target of 101 in just 6.4 overs without losing a wicket. Naeematullah was the star of the match, smashing 73 runs off just 30 balls, while Mohammad Safdar supported him with an unbeaten 24 runs from 14 balls. Naeematullah’s outstanding performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
In other tournament matches, Sri Lanka defeated South Africa, and Bangladesh secured a victory over Afghanistan. Sri Lanka’s Suranga Sampath and Bangladesh’s Arif Hussain delivered notable performances for their teams.
