Ugandan shilling little-changed; to ease due to commercial bank FX demand

KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was little-changed on Friday, but was expected to weaken due to demand for dollars from commercial banks, traders said.

Ugandan shilling stable; coffee and gold FX inflows offer support

At 0927 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,652/3,662, compared with Thursday’s closing rate of 3,650/3,660.
