Senior journalist and late-night host Aftab Iqbal has reportedly gone missing after being detained by airport authorities in Dubai, UAE.

His daughter, Ayesha Noor Iqbal, confirmed that he was detained upon returning from the United Kingdom. She shared that immigration authorities took him into custody despite assurances that he had a “clean chit” from the UAE government. However, no further details have been provided about his current location.

Junaid Iqbal, Aftab’s brother, also voiced his concerns. He stated that since the detention, Aftab Iqbal has been “nowhere to be seen,” leaving the family in a state of worry and uncertainty.

The circumstances surrounding his detention and subsequent disappearance remain unclear. Family members are seeking answers and urging authorities to provide information about his whereabouts.

This situation has raised concerns among his colleagues, fans, and loved ones, who are all hoping for his safe return.
