HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The message of your birthday chart is that all work and no play is not a recipe for either happiness or success. You need to get the balance right over the coming year: Find ways to have fun in your work, while working hard at having fun.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you keep things simple today you won’t go far wrong. That advice applies especially if you are on the move for social or business purposes as the more complicated the journey the more likely it is you will end up at the wrong destination.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The message of the stars today is that although it may be painful to let go of something that has been a part of your life for so long it will, in time, bring a real sense of freedom. Don’t wait any longer, start cutting the bonds today.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Jupiter in your sign makes a tense aspect to Saturn, planet of limitation, so most likely you won’t be at your best. You will, however, be able to stand back from what you are working on and decide where and how you need to make changes.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

It’s not up to other people to amuse you, it’s up to you to amuse yourself, and if you make that effort it won’t be long before your blues are banished and you are laughing at life once again. Fortunately, you never take anything too seriously for long.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

What goes around comes around eventually, so if you can’t work out why something is happening try studying the past. It may be that your current dilemma is the result of a decision you took long ago. Once you understand that it won’t seem so bad.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Avoid locking horns with someone who is bigger and better connected than you. Today’s Jupiter-Saturn link means you could easily overestimate your capabilities and get yourself in a situation that in no way is going to end in your favour.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Find the latest predictions here:

You are entitled to speak your mind but if what you say is proved to be wrong you really have no choice but to backtrack and apologize. By all means say your piece and ruffle some feathers today but don’t forget that communication is a two-way street.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You need to stop spending so much time worrying about a money problem and actually do something about it. Today’s Jupiter-Saturn link will point out where savings can be made and after that it’s up to you. Be ruthless with yourself.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The best way to cheer yourself up is to get out and about and interact with people who, like you, are desperate to find reasons to smile. Even if your intentions are to be serious you will soon be laughing together at the absurdities of life.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It’s good that you are competitive by nature but don’t take it to extremes. With Saturn, your ruler, linked to Jupiter, planet of excess, you could so easily go over the top and do things that invite a damaging response. Think before you act.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The winds of change are blowing so strongly now that you have no choice but to travel along with them. Fortunately, wherever they take you there will be something good waiting for you at the end. Those winds are at your back.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

There is so much going on in your world that you may want to run away and hide from all the chaos and confusion. That won’t be possible today but it will be possible for you to influence events – so don’t sit on the sidelines, get involved!
