His remarks did not sit well with the Bollywood star’s fans on both sides of the border

Pakistani actor Khaqan Shahnawaz’s recent comments about Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan have sparked a wave of criticism from fans in both India and Pakistan.

During his appearance on a private TV show, a fan expressed their desire to see Shahnawaz act alongside the iconic actress. In response, Shahnawaz joked, “I can play her son. Yeah, I can play her son, definitely.”

He went on to add that the “Jab We Met” star is considerably older than him, implying that his role would only be that of her son.

The actor’s remarks did not sit well with Kareena’s fans, who swiftly voiced their disapproval on social media. One fan pointed out, “Kareena wouldn’t even know who he is, even I’ve never seen a drama of his.”

Another comment labelled the actor as “full of himself.” The clip, which was widely shared on Instagram, received numerous angry comments, further fueling the online backlash.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently shared heartwarming photos on Instagram, including one of Saif walking amid dried trees with a red heart emoji caption.

Another photo featured Taimur in front of a large, beautifully decorated Christmas tree, with the caption “Mera Beta” (My Son) and a red heart emoji.

The actor’s comments on Kareena’s age have certainly stirred the pot, but the Bollywood star seems to be unaffected, focusing on her family and festive celebrations.
