Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have entered into a new agreement to work together on publishing and translating the Holy Quran. This initiative aims to promote Islamic knowledge and strengthen the bond between the two nations. The announcement was made by the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs on their official social media platform, marking it as a notable moment in the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The signing ceremony took place in Jeddah and was attended by Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs. During the event, both sides emphasized the importance of the partnership in spreading the true teachings of Islam.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) includes various areas of collaboration. These include the publication and translation of the Quran into different languages, training programs for preachers and imams, and the management and construction of mosques. Both countries also aim to share expertise in mosque architecture and planning.

Furthermore, the agreement focuses on preserving and reviving Islamic heritage. It involves publishing Islamic books and safeguarding historical manuscripts, ensuring that valuable pieces of Islamic history are preserved for future generations.

This collaboration reflects a joint effort to promote the peaceful and moderate message of Islam, contributing to the better understanding of Islamic teachings worldwide.
