Anant Ambani stuns with multi-million dollar Richard Mille timepiece

Anant Ambani wore the rare Richard Mille RM 52-04 “Skull” Blue Sapphire during an outing with wife Radhika.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, is renowned for his impressive luxury watch collection, recently capturing the internet’s attention with another rare timepiece.

As a passionate horologist, he is often seen wearing timepieces from esteemed brands such as Richard Mille, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet.

Recently, during an outing with his wife, Radhika Merchant, Anant sported an extraordinary piece — the Richard Mille RM 52-04 “Skull” Blue Sapphire, one of the world’s rarest watches.

The RM 52-04 “Skull” Blue Sapphire, part of Richard Mille’s exclusive collection, is considered one of the rarest timepieces in the world.

According to The Indian Horology Instagram page, this watch is available only to Richard Mille’s most elite clients. With just three pieces ever made, the RM 52-04 is a highly sought-after item for collectors.

The luxury watch store, Vintage Grail, described it as a rare sight, adding, “You’d be lucky to have seen these in your lifetime.”

Crafted from a single piece of sapphire, the RM 52-04 features a pirate skull and crossbones within a tonneau-shaped case. The skull’s back is part of the movement’s central bridge, visible through the sapphire caseback. Four additional bridges, shaped like bones from a pirate flag, attach the movement to the case, adding to the watch’s unique design.

This extraordinary timepiece is valued at an eye-watering USD 2.625 million (approximately PKR 720.91 million), underscoring Richard Mille’s reputation for creating exclusive and costly watches.

Richard Mille is a Swiss brand renowned for its avant-garde designs and exclusivity, becoming a status symbol among the wealthy and influential.

Anant Ambani, who is married to Radhika Merchant, is the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. His siblings, Isha and Akash Ambani, are also prominent figures in the business world. The couple recently tied the knot on 12th July 2024.
