Govt Launches IT Skills Programme for Pakistani Youth

The Pakistan government has launched a program to teach IT skills to 200,000 young people every year. This initiative was announced by Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, during a recent ceremony.

He emphasized that this program is a crucial step toward strengthening Pakistan’s digital economy and empowering the youth.

Iqbal stated that equipping the younger generation with IT skills will help them play a vital role in the nation’s development. The program is designed to prepare them for opportunities in the global tech market and contribute to Pakistan’s progress in the digital age.

In addition to promoting IT education, the minister highlighted efforts to showcase Pakistan’s rich art, culture, and heritage on an international stage. He mentioned that the creativity and talent of Pakistan’s youth would play a key role in representing the country globally.

Iqbal also touched on the importance of ongoing political talks, assuring that the government remains committed to their success for the country’s stability and progress.

This initiative reflects the government’s focus on preparing the youth for a technology-driven future while preserving Pakistan’s cultural identity. It also signals a step toward economic growth and global engagement through skill development and cultural promotion.

The program is expected to open new opportunities for the younger generation, helping them contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s economic and cultural landscape.
