On Saturday evening, the northern regions of Balochistan, including Ziarat, experienced the first snowfall of the season. The snow transformed the area into a winter wonderland, attracting both locals and tourists to the hill stations to enjoy the chilly atmosphere.

In response to the snowfall, the Levies Force and other relevant authorities have been deployed along national highways to ensure smooth traffic flow. They are also ready to handle any disruptions caused by road closures due to the snow and rain.

The Meteorological Department has forecasted that the weather will remain cloudy, rainy, and windy in the coming days. More snowfall is expected in areas such as Quetta, Mastung, Ziarat, Killa Saifullah, Zhob, Kalat, and Surfab over the next 24 hours.

Ziarat and nearby mountains, including Sariab, have already received significant snowfall, adding to the region’s winter charm. The scenic beauty of these areas, especially during the first snowfall, offers a unique experience for visitors, making it a perfect time to explore Balochistan’s mountainous landscapes.
