University of Agriculture Announces Job Opportunities in Pakistan

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) has announced several job openings under its development project titled “Import Substitution and Export Enhancement through Promotion of Sesame, Soybean, and Canola.” Pakistani nationals are invited to apply for the positions on a contract basis. Successful candidates will be appointed with consolidated monthly salaries as per the specified criteria.

Available Positions and Qualifications

UAF has announced vacancies for the following posts:

1. Research Assistant (PPS-06)
   • Number of Positions: 2
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Plant Breeding & Genetics, Agronomy, Seed Science & Technology, Entomology, or Plant Pathology from an HEC-recognized institution with one year of relevant experience.
   • Salary: Rs. 105,000 per month (consolidated).
2. Field Assistant (PPS-04)
   • Number of Positions: 3
   • Qualification: Matric with Science (Second Division) and a 3-year Diploma in Agriculture Sciences (DAS) from a recognized institution.
   • Salary: Rs. 52,500 per month (consolidated).
3. Lab Technician (PPS-03)
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Qualification: Secondary School Certificate with Science and three years of experience as a Lab Assistant.
   • Salary: Rs. 43,750 per month (consolidated).
4. Lab Assistant (PPS-02)
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Qualification: Secondary School Certificate with Science, Agriculture, or Technical Group.
   • Salary: Rs. 35,000 per month (consolidated).
5. Driver (PPS-01)
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Qualification: Middle school education, LTV License, and two years of experience in vehicle driving.
   • Salary: Rs. 28,000 per month (consolidated).

General Instructions

2. Only degrees from HEC-recognized universities will be accepted.
3. These project-based positions are strictly contract-based and not subject to regularization.
4. The initial contract period is one year, extendable based on project requirements.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for tests or interviews, and no TA/DA will be provided.
6. Retired individuals are not eligible to apply.
