Pakistan Champions Trophy Tickets Resold for Up to 600% Higher Prices

Tickets for the much-awaited India-Pakistan match in the 2025 ICC Men’s Champions Trophy are being resold for prices up to 600% higher than the original cost.

Originally priced at Dh500, the tickets are now listed for as much as Dh3,500 on platforms like Facebook Marketplace and other classified websites. This price surge comes after many fans struggled to secure tickets, with the event selling out in less than an hour despite spending hours in online queues.

Due to the massive demand for tickets, many fans were left disappointed when they couldn’t get a hold of any. Now, those lucky enough to secure tickets are taking advantage of the high demand and reselling them at inflated prices.

This practice has sparked frustration among many who feel that resellers are profiting from fans’ desperation to attend the highly anticipated match. The soaring prices have raised concerns about ticket scalping and accessibility for real cricket enthusiasts.
