HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Mars and Mercury team up on your birthday to sharpen your mind and upgrade your communication skills and you will certainly have plenty to say for yourself. Your confident way with words will open doors that were previously closed to you.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

A few weeks from now the sun will move into your birth sign and many of your current worries and woes will simply disappear. Before then, however, you need to get your head out of the clouds and focus on practical ways to raise your game.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If you allow someone’s negative comments to hit the spot this week you could find yourself on a downward spiral of doom and gloom. A positive attitude is essential for success, so believe in yourself 100 per cent no matter what the critics say.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

These may be serious times but that does not mean you have to approach every day with a frown on your face. In fact, you are more likely to find answers to your problems if you force yourself to smile. Seek out the funny side of life.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Although cosmic activity in your fellow water sign of Pisces makes this one of the best periods of the year for you don’t fall into the trap of believing the good times will never end. Enjoy the moment but don’t stop planning for the future.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You may like to believe that you are strong enough to face each and every challenge that fate sends your way but even a lion-hearted Leo needs a helping hand once in a while. This week you may even need a sympathetic arm around your shoulders.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It is becoming difficult for others to work out if it is the real you they are dealing with or if you are putting on an act. If it’s the latter you need to understand that sooner or later you must let the mask slip. Make it sooner.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The more you choose to co-operate with the people you work with and for the more likely it is your joint efforts will succeed. As the sign of partnerships you should know that many hands make creative work a whole lot easier.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

As one of the zodiac’s fixed signs you can be rather set in your ways, but what occurs in the week ahead will convince you that change is not only possible but essential. The world is moving fast – don’t get stuck in the past.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Focus on what you are good at and ignore what those around you may be doing. If you allow yourself to get dragged into competing with co-workers your own efforts will lose energy and direction. Ignore them and follow your dream.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The more others insist that you do things by the book the more certain you can be that now is the time to break free of restriction and blaze your own trail. The only reason they want to hold you back is because they fear you will outshine them.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Your mind is on full buzz at the moment and some of the ideas you come up with will be touched by genius. Go your own way, do your own thing and ignore those who say you expect too much from life. Most likely you don’t expect enough!

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

So often in life you put other people’s needs ahead of your own, but now you must go to the other extreme and focus only on your own desires. If you don’t you will look back later on and regret the opportunities you let slip away.
