HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You may at times find it hard to believe in yourself this year but if you act as if you cannot fail your mind will create the circumstances that bring opportunities to your door. Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right!

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Start making plans that will take you from where you are in life now to where you most want to be in the future. It won’t be long before you get the chance to turn your dreams into realities, so keep smiling and keep believing.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

There is always something worth fighting for in life and what occurs today and in the run-up to Friday’s lunar eclipse will point you in the right direction. A cause of some kind needs people like you, people who are not afraid to rock the boat.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you have been in a risk averse frame of mind of late that will change well before the end of the month, but for the time being you are right to play safe. Don’t gamble with your future just because you want to impress certain people.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you read between the lines today you will be able to work out what is motivating someone, which in turn will make it easier to avoid a clash of personalities. You don’t have to be on the same side but you don’t have to be enemies either.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Get tough with someone who has taken too many liberties but don’t make such a big issue of it that it causes long-term bad feeling. Let them know that once you have said your piece that is, as far as you are concerned, the end of the matter.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

There will be at least one and maybe several occasions during the early part of the week when you have no option but to dance to someone else’s tune. You don’t have the power to change the situation, so just accept it and adapt to it.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Just because you have bags of energy at the moment does not mean you have to spread it around in all directions. If you focus all your physical and mental intensity in a single direction today you will accomplish something quite remarkable.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You may want to be a nice guy but sometimes you have to lay down the law and this is one of those times. Let whoever is giving you a hard time know that you never give more than two warnings and they are on the second one already.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If a friend or colleague points out where you have been going wrong you won’t much like it, but they are actually trying to do you a favour, so take their advice in the spirit it is given and make the necessary changes. Then thank them for caring.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You need to stop worrying what other people might think of you and be true to your nature. That applies to all areas of your life but especially to the way you interact with people on a social level. You don’t have to be a party person.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The message of the stars today is that you must do whatever it takes to avoid making silly mistakes. If that means withdrawing from the world for a bit then so be it. Sometimes it’s fine just to hunker down and await better times.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Make the most of the sun in your sign to push ahead with your plans but make sure you also take the needs and interests of other people into account as well. Life is not a zero sum game – it’s more than possible for everyone to be a winner.
