UAE Consul General Hosts Oftar to Honor Pakistan’s Special Olympics Athletes

The UAE Consul General in Karachi, Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, recently hosted an iftar dinner for Pakistan’s Special Olympics athletes. The event took place during the holy month of Ramadan and showcased the strong friendship between Pakistan and the UAE.

Al Remeithi warmly welcomed the athletes and praised their hard work and dedication. He emphasized that these athletes have incredible potential and are just as capable as anyone else. He encouraged them to stay confident and empowered as they prepare for the upcoming World Winter Games in Turin in 2025.

The iftar dinner was not only a celebration of Ramadan but also a gesture of support and encouragement for athletes with disabilities. The athletes felt grateful for the warm hospitality and the recognition they received.

Overall, the event highlighted the importance of inclusion and empowerment, showing that everyone deserves opportunities to shine, regardless of their abilities.
