PIA to Resume Flights to UK After Eid Amid Ban Lifting

PIA will restart flights to the UK after Eidul Fitr, following the removal of the European Union’s ban. Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, confirmed that flights will resume in phases, starting with London and Manchester. Plans are also in place to bring back flights to Birmingham soon.

During an Iftar dinner in London, Dr. Faisal shared that a special ceremony will be held to officially announce the return of PIA’s UK flights. Media representatives will be invited to cover the event as the airline reconnects with travelers in the UK.

This decision comes after PIA successfully resumed its flights to Europe earlier this year. The airline restarted operations on January 10, 2024, with its first flight to Paris, marking the end of a four-and-a-half-year suspension. With the return of UK flights, PIA aims to expand its international services once again.

Passengers can now look forward to more travel options, and the airline hopes to restore confidence in its services. PIA’s management is working on improving operations to ensure a smooth and reliable travel experience for passengers flying to and from the UK.
