Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that Pakistan is ready to become a global leader in the mineral economy, thanks to the huge natural resources hidden beneath its land. He spoke during the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2025 held in Islamabad.

General Munir shared a strong message of hope and confidence. He said there is no need for hopelessness when Pakistan has such valuable minerals that can change its economic future. He invited international companies and investors to come forward, invest in Pakistan’s mineral sector, and help the country unlock its full potential.

He also talked about the importance of learning and training. General Munir said that Pakistan needs skilled workers to develop its mineral resources properly. He pointed out that many students from Balochistan are already being trained abroad in mineral exploration, which will help build a strong local workforce in the future.

The Army Chief said that economic security is now a big part of national security. A strong economy makes the country stronger and more stable. He also promised that the Pakistan Army will make sure that a secure environment is provided for all investors. This will help build their trust and ensure smooth progress of projects.

General Munir praised the efforts of local and foreign stakeholders who are interested in Pakistan’s growth. He said that this is the time to act and work together for a better future.

The forum was attended by investors, experts, and officials from around the world. It showed the growing interest in Pakistan’s mineral wealth and its potential to become a global mining hub.
